Highly sought after by sommeliers, enthusiasts, and collectors, Château Grillet is unique in that it is an AOC within the AOC Condrieu, belonging to a single owner named... Château Grillet! This 4-hectare monopoly is one of the smallest appellations in France. The single-variety wines (Viognier) are aged in old barrels. Today, the Château belongs to François Pinault's Artémis group.
A golden hue and an incredible aromatic complexity of white flowers, orchard fruits, and nuts give way to a hint of minerality on the palate. This age-worthy wine requires at least 10 years of cellaring to fully realize the potential of this legend from the Rhône Valley.
