The Estate
Yves and Mathilde Gangloff established themselves as one of the major figures in the Northern Rhone Valley. Their wines are extremely pure. After Mathilde passed away in 2011, Loup and Elsa, the children, started to manage the estate. The labels were created by Yves' brother.
The Wine
f there had to be a quintessential Syrah, La Sereine Noire would be perfect for the role. Black fruits and spices, with a hint of roasted notes are followed by a superb texture. One of a kind. It deserves 15 to 20 years in the cellar.
