The Estate

Château Figeac's soil is somehow surprising since it shows lots of gravels, which is quite unusual for Saint-Emilion. Therefore, the blend is close to 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc, and 33% Merlot. In 2022, Figeac was finally awarded a long-deserved rank of 1st Classified Growth "A".

The aging in new barrels and the atypical blend shows in the glass: nice structure and seductive tanninwith the Merlot offering a charming soft texture.
