Haut-Poitou is a forgotten land on the wine map of France, ravaged by phylloxera. Ampelidae, founded in 1995, cultivates nearly 170 hectares organically, producing high-end cuvées (Le S, PN 1328, Le K) from its best plots. With very little new oak and a variety of containers (concrete eggs, amphorae, stainless steel, etc.), these cuvées showcase the "Pauillac of the Vienne" with an irresistible quality/price ratio. All of the estate's white wines are sealed with screw caps to preserve the freshness sought by the team. In some great vintages, the wines can age for 20 years or more.
Armance B. comes from grapes of outstanding quality and is made by the traditional method (2nd fermentation in bottle).
Eye: Pale yellow with a silver hue.
Nose: Aromas of pastry and fruits (green apple and orange), very caracteristic of the great sparkling chardonnays.
Taste: The fine bubbles trigger the taste buds. The wine is light, sharp and fresh, with a good aftertaste of hazlenuts and acacia.
