The Estate
Born in the viticulture universe, Jérôme Trudon followed studies of biology-biochemistry, and then has taken the job of a œnologist in charge of a winery for ten years. Quickly, the œnologist had a passion for his field and joined the wine estate of his parents, Marie-Noëlle and Noël Trudon, at Festigny after the harvest 2009.
Jérôme TRUDON is the guardian and representative of Champagne Trudon heritage that was founded in the years 1920 by Lucien, his great grand-father. Not less than four generations of wine-growers, passing on their know-how, are at the origin of the brand.
To sustain such heritage, a highly sound approach of trade and product, and a true passion are shared. As an independent Wine-grower and œnologist, Jérôme Trudon follows the precept of « devoting his talent to searching for the wine quality and its wine-derived products while respecting their authenticities, their organoleptic and nutritional qualities. »...
Champagne TRUDON therefore holds the title of Producer-Wine-maker and joined the confederation of Independent Wine-growers, who are references for wine amateurs.
The Wine
This is the champagne faithful to the vines of our vineyard. It counts a majority of Meunier and is skilfully accompanied by Pinot Noir. To continue our House style, it contains 30 to 40 % of reserve wines.
Complete malolactic fermentation must take place, since this technique is historical, traditional, and cultural at Champagne Trudon.
Tasting
On the first nose, Emblématis evokes aromas of quince and marmalade. As it aerates, it develops tropical notes of mango, orange, and ginger. On the palate, it is smooth and fresh, with a creamy and well-integrated effervescence.
