Château La Clyde is a true hidden gem located just outside Bordeaux, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. On 1.8 hectares, Florence and Jacques Jouny, both retired, embarked on their journey to craft fine Bordeaux wines in 2016 on this small plot of land. From the very beginning, they embraced biodynamic farming and winemaking, working tirelessly without employees—though they admit their grandchildren occasionally lend a hand. The result is wines that are precise, modern, and worthy of the finest tables.
Viticulture: Manual harvests
Vinification & Aging: 15 months in rench oak barrels
After 15 minutes of decanting, this beautiful vintage reveals a full-bodied palate and very soft tannins.
Notes of black fruits, slightly jammy, give this vintage, predominantly merlot, exceptional aging potential.
