Malartic-Lagravière is a prestigious Bordeaux wine estate, renowned for its balanced red and white wines. Located in Pessac-Léognan, it combines tradition and modernity to produce exceptional wines.
The Malartic-Lagravière red 2006, from the Pessac-Léognan appellation, benefits from meticulous vinification. The grapes are hand-harvested and rigorously sorted. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, ensuring precise temperature management. Following this stage, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, a significant proportion of which are new, allowing for a subtle addition of tannins and woody aromas.
This careful process results in a wine with a dark and deep color, offering complex aromas of ripe black fruits, cassis, and blackberry, with notes of tobacco, cedar, and spices. On the palate, it presents supple and elegant tannins, with flavors of red and black fruits, chocolate, and a slight minerality. The finish is long and persistent, revealing a harmonious and refined wine.
