Ranked as a Second Growth in the 1855 Classification, Château Rauzan-Ségla has been in the possession of the very discreet Wertheimer family since 1994, who also own Chanel. Thanks to significant investments in technical facilities and a fabulous terroir similar to that of Château Margaux, the estate is now among the finest in its appellation.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, Rauzan-Ségla is distinguished by a refreshing character complemented by notes of rose petals and blackberries on the nose. The tannins are fine, and the finish is magnificent in its persistence.
In 2009, Karl Lagerfeld drew the label.
